About Portraits
Our Portland shop is where every Portraits piece becomes a real physical object. We're looking for a production lead who has run a fine-art or high-volume photo print operation and wants to help scale ours into a national-brand consumer product while keeping gallery-level quality.
What you'll do
- Run day-to-day print production — queue management, QA, color calibration, paper sourcing.
- Partner with our framing team on quality, speed, and waste targets.
- Build and maintain SOPs as the operation scales from one shop to multiple.
- Troubleshoot hard color and composition problems and feed learnings back to engineering.
- Hire and mentor a growing production team.
- Own our quality metrics — you are accountable for the piece that reaches the customer's wall.
What you have
- 7+ years in fine-art printing, photo production, or high-end commercial print.
- Deep knowledge of giclée, color profiles (ICC), and paper stocks.
- Operations mindset — comfortable writing SOPs, sequencing a queue, reading a dashboard.
- Experience scaling a team from small to medium size.
- Calm under delivery pressure.
Compensation & benefits
Base salary: $95k–$125k (USD), depending on experience and location.
