How do you frame the prints?
We frame everything ourselves in our US production facility. Frames are cut from solid hardwood (oak, walnut, maple) or finished MDF for our painted frames. Corners are joined with v-nails and glue, sanded, and finished.
The mat is cut to order on an archival 100% cotton board, window-cut for the specific print size. The print is hinged to the backing with acid-free tape, and the whole stack — glazing, mat, print, backing — is closed up with a sealed dust cover.
Every frame gets D-ring hangers (not sawtooth) for reliable long-term hanging. Larger pieces (over 24×36) also include corner bumpers and hanging wire.
